I have Canadian friends, and see their FB feeds. They are uniting against the US "bigly." Relationships and trust take time to build, but this is threatening the foundation. Fractured foundations, are never fully secure. The world is watching our country becoming America Alone.

Understandable. I hope to visit Quebec someday, I licensed many images from wonderful Canadian photographers over my career whom have invited us to visit. This would be included in my travel wardrobe.

I’m an American and 100% support what Canada is doing. Any trade disputes should be handled through negotiations, which they already did four years ago. What our government has done is an unprovoked attack on Canada.

Agreed. Remember it's a border issue about fentanyl - not trade. The IEEPA was used to impose tariffs based on fentanyl crossing the north border. It's nonsense and was contrived to levy tariffs. In the last thirty days, one ounce of fentanyl was seized over 5,500 miles of the Canada border.

The Wall Street journal made a good point that the law doesn’t specifically give him tariff powers. And the way he’s using tariffs has a good chance of being thrown out by the courts if only someone would sue him over it.

I use to travel to Vegas annually. I will miss my trips to Sin City but Trump’s treatment of America’s best friend deserves a firm response of boycotting American travel & the purchasing of American goods & services. Canada is not for sale, neither is Greenland, Panama, Ukraine etc. Wake up USA!

Canada has 10 provinces & three territories. I’m sure most Canadians would consider welcoming blue states as provinces. I can understand how many Americans would prefer a calmer & more stable environment. Canada is not a Utopia, but there is a greater effort to make it work to benefit everyone!

I love my US friends and family and visits. Never been treated poorly by anyone. Just last Sept we were in Virginia City, a very Trump area, had an awesome time in a very small saloon with locals. Avoided politics of course and had an awesome time, we know it not you, it’s him.

Look at how free that market is! With no external influence to tamper with it, all of the airport is available for use by taxpayers here in America. And the planes are free from red tape, so they will be on time whether they passed a pre-flight checklist or not.

For the past 15 years, my parents spent the month of March in Florida. My family and I were supposed to join them this week. This year, we all, including my parents, cancelled and decided not to spend our money in the country threatening to annex Canada. Bravo Trump.

My MIL is due to come in April for my oldest son's graduation and I'm worried the UK will advise no travel. I want to move back now--in the summer I was more hesitant when my husband suggested it. Wish he was closer to retirement. We are debating sending the youngest over but he's still in uni.
