Vaccines. 💪🏻💪🏻

And yet Joe Rogan puts guests on who say "Vaccines aren't actually responsible for the reduction in infectious diseases.”

On Jubilee this week they had on Dr. Mike with 20 anti-vaxers. The anti-vaxers insisted that vaccines don't actually prevent diseases like measles, mumps, polio etc. In a gross misunderstanding of infectious virology one woman claimed "diet" could prevent infection. Explain this away anti-vaxers?!

The Alternative Kellyanne Conway Collective Unconsciousness? Or simply an unconscious siding w/that which is perceived to be powerful, in control thus able to survive like in Renee Girards Mimetic theory, mindlessly gravitating towards the authoritarian out of fear. I dunno-Humans don't make sense

And this is as reporting got *better*. No one was reporting the theoretical “mild” measles case in 1920. If it was mild enough not to require professional intervention, it wouldn’t have been counted back then.

These people literally need to take a walk in any cemetary and ask why there were so many children under 5 that died around 100+ years ago and hardly any since then— what changed? Vaccinations

Actually, the massive reductions in viral infections after the prevalence of vaccines is due to…this bullshit supplement with vitamins, herbs and fucking snake oil that I just happen to have for sale for the low, low monthly rate of…

The more anti-vaxxer MAGAts the better. Less of them around in the future. Joe Rogan and the rest of the anti-vax brigade should keep up their good work.

I mean, the "natural" human life cycle is about 35 years, give or take. Nature is primed to kill us. So if these freaks like Rogan wants us to go back to that, they should just say it.

Folks, this is shameful! When is the last time you heard of a measles outbreak in America? This vaccine has been in use for DECADES- inoculated people reduce the risk of infection (when in the presence of an infected person by 97%). No brainer. If you ❤️ your kids inoculate them!

He hides behind this whole "I'm in the middle" mask but in reality he is just too much of a pussy to admit that he is MAGA, he's uneducated, and he has absolutely no sense of reality.

Answer: Book a spot on Joe Rogan's show. Halfway through, begin coughing. Choking. Laughing. "it's nothing." "Do I have red spots?" "I thought I had something this morning." "I wasn't vaccinated but I'm sure it's nothing."

THAT is a kick-ass info graphic! We need more of these...about all kinds of complex things getting attacked by this dumbass administration. Pictures may be the best way to get through to their illiterate, mouth-breathing loyal voters.

Wondering if anyone has tried suing Rogan or Spotify. Lawsuits seem to be one of the few things “their side” understand. Immense harm has come and will come from their messaging, no matter how they wrap it up as just asking questions. There must be a lawsuit in there somewhere…

I ended up having to recently get a booster for measles (MMR). I'm an older dude, so I guess the protection wore off in my case. My similar aged wife didn't need the booster.

Um, you do realize there’s a huge number of people who’d be unable to make sense of that graph, right? It’s impossible to understand the US electorate unless you’re able to imagine being an incredibly dumb fuck, one who thinks the earth is flat or believes the Sun revolves around it (as many do!).

Wait, wait, wait - lets be fair and hear both sides. - On the one side there is overwhelming evidence that vaccines work and have saved millions of lives. - On the other side there is - nothing. There is no other side.

I lost the hearing in my right ear from mumps (at the age of 3). That would not have happened later with the mumps vaccine. Believe me, I'd love to have my hearing, you can't imagine how awkward it can be in social settings. In 1999 I received the MMR vaccine prior to travel.

The relationship between a capitalist, commercialised health care system and the fear of vaccines seems an interesting topic to research. The lack of trust that a system designed to make a profit engenders vs a nationalised health care system should be studied.

Joe Rogan is adept at spreading false or misleading information. Listen to the bizarre, blatantly incorrect things he says in his podcasts then explain to me how he has such a huge white male following. Gross.

“It has become clear that truth and transparency are not desired by the Secretary, but rather he wishes subservient confirmation of his misinformation and lies,” Marks wrote in his letter, referring to US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

I do not watch regular TV, so who is Joe Rogan? PhD. from Harvard? Anywhere? BS from somewhere? AA from a junior college, maybe? Some degree from Trumpski Uni.? Before the lawsuit, maybe? At least a high school diploma from some Catholic school or maybe the football teams water boy? Self-taught??

1/ This loss in trust for a beneficial solution is, in a way, predictable (most likely by a simple statistical law). When the direct experience of illnesses disappears due to the efficacy of the solution, people will lack proof of the solution efficacy, hence losing trust in it.

2/ The solution to this problem (loss of trust) is via understanding of causality. But we are syncing further in ignorance at the popular level, making things worse. But that will allow new examples to emerge helping with the trust (new cases of infections will help restore trust).

Someone is paying Rogan very well to do this type of bullcrap. He pulled the same stunt during the pandemic in 2020. What they're preaching to the choir is basically signing people up for their own disaster.

Spotify is paying Joe Rogan to do "this type of bullcrap". Multi-year, 100 million dollar deal. Because his podcast brings in audience. (And other big podcast aggregators mostly haven't had the moral backbone to keep Rogan off their lists, either.)

So my wife works in vaccine safety at Harvard Med. she knows someone from high school, trumper, hair stylist who refused to get her daughter the HPV vaccine. She tried to talk her into it by using the data from her studies. Her friend’s response: I know more about this than you.

The US in sharp decline, since Jan 2025. A sad story. And that is possible despite having brilliant minds in many fields, physics, computer science, biology, medicine and not to forget economics! A significant number even got Nobel Prizes, these seem not relevant for the present Administration
