Vouchers won't work. When "good schools" fill up, a lot of low income families will be stuck holding a voucher that won't get their kids into them. This system is a sham. Take the $1 billion and fix the existing schools' infrastructures. It'll do a lot more for the students than vouchers will.

School coupons for rich people. I dare folks to take a long look at the laundry list of fees, mandatory fundraising goals, extracurricular costs and uniform policies for these private schools.

Texas Education and its Financial Strengths will soon be awash in debt and dumb downed children. It will implode just like every other state that has attempted to implement this disastrous policy.

"School Choice" is a scam, and everyone who thinks about it for even twenty seconds know it. So anyone who supports "School Choice" either hasn't given it twenty seconds of thought or is a scammer.

Just in case.. The "Robin Hood" law in Texas is a system where the state redistributes excess property tax revenue from wealthier school districts to poorer districts. This was implemented in the 1990s to address funding disparities and make school finance more equitable.

This is what they want for the country. They've been using vouchers in Florida as well and & siphoning off Dept of Ed funding to pay for vouchers for kids to go to Christian School. This is why they want to get rid of the department of education, so they can force everyone into religious schooling

1. Access to nearby neighborhood public schools is the cornerstone of our nation/our economy. 2. the privatization of public schools will be a disaster for students/families/neighborhoods. 3. Extremist religious dogma/conservative attack on science & hate will be the curriculum taught.

Texas your state is taking away quality education for your children …. What were you thinking ?? Do you suppose the public schools will get more funds for their schools our will the private schools get more ??? You will figure it out very soon.

Greg Abbott has backed using TexasTaxpayer's money in Religious schools! Every Taxpay in Texas must rise up and vote out any representative who vote yes! Property taxes in Texas is at an all-time high! Abbott has pushed this! He needs to be removed! Get registered! Register others! Vote out MAGA's!

pissants. Why don’t these “christian conservative donors” just build schools themselves if they want them so bad, instead of raiding taxpayer dollars? that’s what the Catholics always did.
