People are funny to kill Proton for releasing information that by SWISS LAW they have to turn over to the Swiss courts/authorities. It’s not like they get a vote in the process. If you think Google/Yahoo mail wouldn’t turn over your information from a lawful U.S. order i have a bridge to sell you

Swiss law is solid, but the wild thing is how fast even good legal frameworks can get rewritten when political winds shift. Laws are promises; physics is physics. What got you thinking about this today?

True. Things can turn on a dime. But we have to go with what is the best option at the moment. The thing i don’t like is when people just read the headline and don’t know the history of why things happened. But you are correct nothing is etched in stone especially with government overreach.
