For the first time in her life Maya experienced cool weather. She does NOT approve. She does not understand how a pupper dog is supposed to go out and pee in this weather.

My Doberman (they are famous for being made of sugar, & melting in rain) only goes out in rain if I have an open umbrella - even if she isn’t under it!

Poor baby. I have one of those. My thinner Golden runs cold all the time. She has her own blankets to keep her warm. Guess you need to build a heated potty house for her to go out and do her business. lol

They sell heated walkways or you can create your own for her to get there and not expose her paws to the cold ground. Can't help but to try to eliminate the problem. A lifelong habit of resolving issues. 💞

I rescued a five-year-old Chihuahua the beginning of this year and he won’t go out in the rain. I have to force him to go pee. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. We are getting there slowly.

Had the opposite happen to a cold loving long haired puppy I had 25 years ago. He had the habit of laying down on the AC vents to enjoy the cold air. That first fall day when the heat came on, he lay down on the vent and got back up and stared at it in confusion.

It's a good thing that she doesn't live where it gets really cold! My Samoyed laid outside in -7 degree weather and he refused to come in the house for about 5 hours!

Ha! When we had ours as a puppy she refused to go outside to pee when it rained. She’d try to go to a quiet corner inside of the house and do it there 😂

I'm with Maya. I can't understand how one can pee in cold weather. To write one's name in the snow is exceptional sorcery. Hell just to get your fingers around your fly.... Maybe TMI...

She's getting so big....and those beautiful eyes! What's gonna happen when the white fluffy stuff falls? I don't know how much snow you get in your neck of the woods but maybe she'll enjoy it. 🐾🐕🥶

Those eyes look like she’s asking you as polite as she can, to do something about it by tomorrow🐶

Sweet girl. She’s not alone. My two rescues don’t mind the cold, but absolutely will not go out if it’s raining or sprinkling or if it’s super windy. You open the door, they stick their heads out, look back and me and turn around to lay back down on the couch. 😂
