Same. Target got my money at every holiday, back to school, all my kids' clothes, every time I needed anything from toothpaste to new bedding. Haven't stepped foot inside one or purchased a single thing online since January 24th.

A whole article full of sentences, paragraphs, punctuation, & everything, but you don’t bother to mention the long-running boycott against this company for betraying the principles it used as a huge part of its sales pitch for the previous sort of 20 years? Could be important.

Clearly Target analysts know the real reason but will they rigorously question leaders on the call about whether they have real plans to regain market share lost due to reckless corporate political policies or simply accept that the Smile More campaign will do all the heavy 4th Qtr lifting? 🧐😅

There is nothing in this piece about the boycotts. I have been to Target less than 5 times since late January. Why won’t they just apologize and change the bad policies? 20 years from now when Target has gone the way of K-Mart, there will be business case studies with the title “YOU CAN APOLOGIZE”

I stopped shopping there 5 years ago when Target on Evanston became "let's gawk at Black ppl" idoseecolor.substack.com/p/self-check... and even a Better Business Bureau complaint in 2021 to Peterson branch didn't work. Their take? Leave your dog at home instead of doing curbside. My take? Dog wins.

idoseecolor.substack.comBlack-owned businesses can survive without anti-DEI TargetBlack consumers, be careful with Black-owned businesses who care more about luxury than equality

Imagine busybody Target customers threatening to call Animal Control if you leash your dog to QUICKLY pick up an order. Now imagine choosing drive-up or curbside, and a Target manager and cashier insist on you coming in even though dogs aren't allowed. windowshoppingnews.substack.com/p/drive-ups-...

windowshoppingnews.substack.comPost-COVID, are retailers getting amnesia about drive-ups and curbside pick-ups?Has the worldwide pandemic forever changed customer attitudes?

Now imagine trying to explain to Erica, manager at Peterson, why you chose curbside so you don't have to leash your dog only for her to call security and the cashier who tattled in the first place. This store chain lost me four years ago long before the anti-DEI stance. My boycott is 4 years old!

“Target’s shares have tumbled 41% this year, including a 16% drop since August…” Fortunately Target have acceeded to America’s demands for a Starbucks Holiday Peppermint Frozen Latte. Don’t all crowd in at once, people.
