Sad to see this malicious cookie banner on codepen, it doesn't even have a reject all button, you have to uncheck everything manually.

Trying to experiment with some advertising stuff, because, ya know, business. Google AdSense is throwing that up, but I think only in Europe and only if you happen to load a page where we are testing AdSense. (Or did you see it elsewhere?) The UI and UX of that obviously sucks, sorry about that.

If you’re using their automatic ad placement it has a habit of showing up when it shouldn’t. It’s also not very good with SPAs I don’t think. I feel the pain.

But also, fair play for trying to make money out of good things that people value but don’t want to pay for. It annoys the hell out of me when people moan about ads on my stuff when there’s literally a button to pay not to have them (plus a bunch of other stuff)

Oh dear. That's another site I just won't be using then. Which is a shame because I got a few nice projects on there. Time to move them to my own platform...
