Good to see you in the bluesky space, Robin!

Hello Robin, thank you so much for the likes on my replies regarding the youth-led Global Citizens' Congress. As you know better than anyone, we are running out of time. I have developed a systemic blueprint called [Survival Redesign] to structurally shift our civilization OS. 1/ 🧵

Prof. Bill McGuire endorsed the GCC, and Prof. Kevin Anderson shared the framework. But to move from proposal to reality, we need to build a path forward. I’d love to know your thoughts on how we might channel this design into real-world momentum. 2/ 🧵

Things are pretty fucked right? But you know what can turn it around and help salvage our humanity? Nonviolence! It’s the most successful pathway to change and here are all the top scholars and strategists on it 👇 go.bsky.app/JtJ6ViH

In 2017 I was a student minding my own business when suddenly my language studies brought me into contact with Noam Chomsky. His writings on power, foreign policy and climate inspired me to act. So I joined the university fossil fuel divestment campaign. We won a £2m divestment in 8 months 🎊

After this win, I felt the codes of social change within my grasp. I quit Uni and joined @rogerhallam.bsky.social and @gailbradbrook.bsky.social in a small group called Rising Up. There we experimented with nonviolent direct action and debated on campaigns for the coming year of 2018.

First up was the XR prequel, VoteNoHeathrow. Against the expansion of the biggest carbon infrastructure I went on a 2-week hunger strike and starred in a BBC3 miniseries on young activism. youtu.be/Ei-a_Rbe8TU?...

Admiring your work! Chomsky was a seminal influence for me. Kinda crushed by Chomsky/Epstein/Banner/bankers #EpsteinFiles emails revelation making that crowd of shites seem like Noam's besties. wtf?
