yup and I’m starting to feel like our piccalilli one might be contributing to that now, more than I’m comfortable with tbh

I’ve yet to go to one and click “follow all”, I scroll thru and see if there are ones I’ve missed or interest me. Given popular accts are gonna be popular with many people, I find the value of starter packs just to be an easy list to quickly sift thru.

It's not a solution to the core problem, but I've been keeping track of talented/cool, but lesser known, folks in the web community and made a starter pack for them: bsky.app/profile/hawk...

Since a lot of web-focused starter packs have the same folks listed again and again, I've been keeping an eye out for cool web people who are less well known in the community. Take a peek if you've been looking for some fresh faces/voices to follow here on Bluesky! go.bsky.app/4Q1wdiB

💯. There needs to be a way for when you're adding someone to an SP, for bsky to tell you if that person is already a member of another similarly named SP. That way we can prevent Starter Park membership duplication from happening. (And also cut down on duplicate SPs themselves.)
