Hey, sorry if this is a bother but I'm trying to change my user name on the site, are we limited to only like 9 or 10 letters?

That's a current technical limitation. We are working on that but please put in a feature request on the site to prioritize it higher. Thanks!

I saw on the settings an option for notifications on an app? There's a sofurry app!?

A few things: - why is the "likes" section a combination of everything, instead of being split like it was before? - how do I change that absolute eyesore of a background for story things? It's incredibly straining on the eyes.

1. Please put in a feature request. The site is still in beta and things are of course still being worked on. 2. What exactly do you mean?

1: Why would a feature that was there on the pre-existing site be removed, doubly so one that kept things neat and tidy? 2: I mean this bit that causes a ton of eyestrain, that's on every tile: Also another question: why do logins die after less than twelve hours?

If we have bookmarks from the old site how do we convert them to work with the new version?

In case you didn't try that: Please use your email address to log in instead of your username. We switched that.

yeah I tried all my emails from the past many years, then I tried looking up the account and it doesn't seem to be there(though it had NSFW content, so that could be why)

The #beta label is still with us. We tried our best to sort out the biggest bugs & provide a solid base but work isn't done yet. We're working on any upcoming issues ASAP but keep in mind that the SF team is made up from volunteers dedicating a big chunk of their own free time. [2/3]

Glad the site is back up! Maybe add a feature that’ll give the option to separate pre-existing likes between written work and art? Or even add a page counter on likes so skipping to a page is faster than hitting next each time

Notably absent promised feature: automatic redirects from SF2 content URLs to their corresponding SFX URLs.

faving stories brings up an error, guess not all the bugs are out of the system yet

I cannot log in without being told my username that I used on the old site is too long?

Great to hear, but I can't seem to login to my account — the login form no longer accepts usernames and I don't remember the e-mail address I signed up as, how do I contact someone to get that resolved? I'd rather not have to create a new account!

So... is there a one click button to see highest rated stories of the past day/week/month? Also I dont understand your tag search system. Searching M/M etc doesnt bring up any results?

Also, do any of the views show a clear viewcount/rating? Am I being dumb?

Love to see it’s back, but I enjoy revisiting favorite works via browser bookmarks… and now the work url format is all completely different. :[ Is there any way to speed up re-finding all of those favorite works, or am I just screwed needing to search for all of them again?

Forwarding for older artwork works but right now only if you take away the www. in front of the URL. We're working in resolving that issue so that URL forwarding will work without that workaround.

How are you supposed to fix these, when any links attempted get auto-mangled by the site redirecting them? I had a number of tabs open that I'd avoided closing, and now refreshing them change to something like "https://sofurry.com/?url=/view/1029391" and resolve as the home page.
