I heard it's asexuality awareness week! I identify most with aceflux, which is defined as someone whose sexual orientation fluctuates. That can look different for different people! I've learned a lot about my sexuality the past couple of years, so I'm gonna share what that looks like for me. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

We went to one of our favorite nature preserves in Skagit today, and two great things happened: 1. We met up with a friend by pure happenstance, and 2. We saw this long-tailed weasel.

personally I think there should be a law that mandates companies provide a non-algorithm-driven feed. I mean we all kinda knew coming in that Bluesky wasn't permanent, it'll inevitably suck someday too.

I genuinely do think if X/Meta/Youtube tuned algorithms to promote positive posts over incentivizing ragebait and other such things there would be a measurable reduction in global stress levels.

I don’t think the internet psychologically damaged us as a species. I think capitalists trying to control and monetize it did. I think we as a species created a web of speed a creativity. A breaking of walls that scared and enraged the wall builders.

Unfortunately, I have lost my job and I have a surgery coming up in 6 days that may be in jeopardy. I've posted an update in GoFundMe. Please consider spreading this around and possibly donating? Thank you! gofund.me/9d5081331

the worst part of getting over sickness is the intrusive anxiety afterwards. not really sure why it's been happening every time I get over a cold or a flu, maybe serotonin receptors are just blocked, but shit gets rough. trying to keep grounded

if there's one thing that will make me instantly vote for the next candidate, it's someone who will make this needless price hiking with no product improvement shit illegal and enforced.

That was a pretty good movie! Gave me kinda Gran Torino vibes with the character arcs and stuff. Was a little less cringy testosterone-, fueled than Armageddon and I appreciate that, and I now understand why FOX cameras all suck - they're trying to get the Days of Thunder closeup angles all the time
