Tim Walz dropping out of the race for a third term is the direct result of Republican threats to kill his entire family after they had already murdered one of his state’s representative and her husband. — Anyone still believe both parties are the same?

Our Cold Civil War is starting to boil. MAGA says "so what we have the President and the guns". Sigh, we are all going to pay such a price for all this historical illiteracy. Our grandchildren will curse us.

I think they need their irl friends family and coworkers to start calling them out in person. I don’t think we can wake them up online. It’s gonna take all of us actually talking to other white people & calling out misinformation lies racism bigotry out more. We gotta get uncomfortable & do the work

How disappointing that Walz dropped out because of the bullies in the WH. Too bad Walz didn't use his state law enforcement to figure out who was doing the threatening .. I'm sure all roads lead to the J6 thugs that make up Trump's private army. Dropping out is cowardly at this point.

Less than 6 months ago this happened. And seriously, I’m starting to want to tell anyone not living in Minnesota that understands everything going on to shut the fuck up. I wish this wasn’t his decision, and I respect him and his decision. And he will work his ass off this next year, like always.

That representative was a friend of Walz. The murderer was a Trump supporter. Trump pushed lies that Tim was involved. Republicans don't care about truth or fraud. If they did, Rick Scott the biggest fraud in Medicare would be in prison. Instead, the cult is busy threatening/killing good people.

I believe this is true. This country is also so gullible. The ‘giant scandal’ has no recent names or businesses attached to it, no evidence shown, no evidence based amounts of actual money stolen. Just general, outrageous claims. Minnesota likely has an average or lower amount of fraud in it.

No, we're not the same, and although I wish he'd stay.....It is so understandable why he doesn't want to. This admin is dangerous as hell. And it's his choice for heaven's sake. We don't have a clue what he's been going through. I hope he and his family stay safe.

I will never believe that. Beyond black and white. Night and day. Divide, conquer and destroy our democracy. All of them are in on it. I don’t blame Tim Walz. He’s a good man. On the other hand, republicans are now trying out authoritarian actions. They must get a helluva buzz from power!

Not buying that. Why didn't say that. He said he wasn't going to campaign so he could devote that time to the fraud. If fraud isn't the reason why is it the excuse. Tim let us down. Period and now his stepping down lends credibility, Shirley, who'll now attack more Dems who don't have fraud problems

I totally understand his decision. A segment of Trump's followers are out of control and considering how dangerous he is, they likely will continue to follow his example. Gov. Walz has already done so much for his party and his city. I hope he can find a place where he can contribute lower-profile.

Yeah Bc everything Dem leadership is doing Is so effective I’m saying Meet them where they are Don’t bring a fucking Butter knife 2 a RAPING WOMEN & CHILDREN fight & killing US citizens Jesus people We’re gonna blink It’ll be 10 yrs from now W/us all just Commenting On how horrid fascism is #Mm

Trump won our flawed process and won a plurality of the vote. Legally removing him requires 218 votes in the House and 67 votes in the Senate. Nobody is going to depose him by force. Trump's poll numbers and the election results of Nov 4 show the effectiveness of Dem leadership.

If attrition is not proved in a post, I ask for it before I repost anything. This is a neutral practice that suggests neither doubt nor agreement on my part. In this age of an internet crawling with malinformation, that should be standard practice.
