On a more serious note, these Sailors and Marines are just humans. When the breaking point is reached with the people who maintain aircraft, Aviators start getting wet or worse. This lesson was learned (and since apparently forgotten) during the Vietnam war.

Sadly, every day I find out more and more things about America that make it hard to still love it. We need to do some serious reckoning with what we actually are as a country. Turns out we never were the myth that we were sold growing up. Hopefully one day we will fully live up to that myth.
