I get my kids back for a while… not a TikTok fan but it sucks that in a so-called free country that prides itself on its capitalism, companies aren’t allowed to operate. I get the Chinese gov can be snoopy, but people are literally dancing and making goofy videos 🤷‍♂️

This is ridiculous. It's banned in China because almost all apps that contain content from outside of China are banned in China. I can only talk to my Chinese friends on wechat. And Tiktok is no less secure or dangerous than Meta or Twitter.

After Bluesky archived 28 mio users. I try to make a overview that show countrys population. The dark blue is country has a population less then 28 mio. If new user continue the current speed, we might archive 29 mio in 7-8 days. In this last 5 days Bsky got 140.200 new user in avarage on a day.

It really is. The amount of people that have gotten help they wouldn’t have gotten. The number of small businesses that were saved or started on there. I have to scroll further and farther back now to see videos and can only view my 30 most recent likes. But even they’re starting to buffer.
