Childless GSD owner here 👋 We use it primarily for grocery pickup. It can fit like 10-14 days worth of groceries for 2 people using the two large cargo bag attachments. We also go out to dinner using this bike. Husband pedals, I ride the adult passenger bench, and dog rides in a trailer.

How comfortable is this for longer distance (say.. 20-30 minutes)? Any pictures? I am trying to figure out if there's any chance I can talk my "too cool for this" preteen into riding the back of one of these to taekwondo and volleyball practice.

We have a gen 1, and we chose to go bare bones with the padded bench and handle under the saddle. Since we got ours, Tern has released a more comfy adult setup with handlebar and proper bench seat. store.ternbicycles.com/blogs/articl...

The HSD and QuickHaul are good options from them that serme slightly smaller. Also have childfree kids living happily with the larger GSD. (They are an absolute school drop-off line defeater tho)

Austria. Was at an 'authorized dealer' on Friday. They said it takes them up to 3 months to order something as Tern changed their distribution strategy in such a chaotic manner they ignore all emails and don't manage to handle orders properly. And no EU Online Store available :/
