More important... they aren't denouncing Trump for bad policies. Only for bad execution. Their remedy isn't to change direction. Only to express disappointment that Trump is so inept at doing what they'd hoped he would do.

Tucker didn't 'err'. He's a self-promoting pundit who makes money from his audience and will take any position that benefits him, no matter how squalid or unethical. He's changing tack now because he can see which way the wind is blowing. He needs punishment, not advertisement.

The Atlantic has the memory of a fucking goldfish. “David Frum, a former speechwriter for George W. Bush (and writer for The Atlantic) was a prominent neoconservative proponent of the 2003 Iraq War, known for coining the phrase "axis of evil.”

We know from the Dominion lawsuit that these current thoughts aren't actually Tucker's second thoughts; they're his first thoughts. And his *second* thoughts weren't actually his thoughts at all, they were the lies he willingly spread on Fox News, for as long as the proximity to power benefited him.

Yeah…I’m a forgiving person when it comes to making mistakes, I’ve made plenty over the years…but this is different, this was a sustained agenda of propaganda and was continued because it drove his ratings…until it didn’t! Nah, I don’t forgive and forget just because he is attempting to rehabilitate

To say they erred is so fucking intellectually dishonest, out almost discredits the article on first glance. These people knew what they were doing. They knew who they were voting for.

He might be sorry for supporting Trump, but he hasn’t denounced the racist, misogynistic, and classist policies. He just doesn’t want to be associated with the politician in descent.

The Tucker Carlson apology is hard to swallow even if he is apologizing in good faith. But "Tucker Carlson" and "good faith" can not be used in the same sentence. Carlson is just trying to play everyone, looking for a positive outcome for himself post-Trump....

Those pundits, if sincere about their second thoughts, can now repent by turning that propaganda machine against Trump with the force of a thousand fire hoses. If they use their snake-tongue skills to convince the bobbleheads of what the actual truth is, then MAYBE they can have an iota of praise.

Utter BS. Of course Tucker knew Trump was a corrupt fool. He backed the racist horse, as he had been doing since his last phony conversion. He’s never been a true believer in anything other than his own ambition.
