i thought my atproto “has a normal opinion about AI” labeler was broken but actually it’s correctly not tagging any users at all

there is no resolution to that constraint. either you think everything will be business as usual, which is an insane thing to think given how the tech is progressing, or you think that nothing will be the same ever again, which (even if true) means you have insane millenarian beliefs

just because no technology has ever completely upended reality for everyone alive in just a few short years doesn’t mean that no such technology exists

i wonder about the advent of the printing press in this respect. it seems like it’s the only contemporary technology that’s at all comparable. maybe radio?
