I appreciate what Cuban is trying to do, but he’s yelling from the cheap seats on this one. It’s easy to say others are doing things half assed as they deal with political realities.

A non-profit, cost-sharing health care model centered on reinvestment and low overhead would be far better suited to replace the U.S. insurance system because it aligns incentives with patient outcomes rather than shareholder profit.

By eliminating the need for profit margins, excessive executive compensation, and complex billing structures, resources could be redirected toward preventive care, negotiated pricing, and patient services that actually reduce long-term costs.

When paired with non-profit hospitals and health networks, such a model could further stabilize costs through aligned missions, shared data, and coordinated care, creating a system that prioritizes access, affordability, and health equity over financial extraction. #ACA #insurance #healthcare

This is equivalent to Boomer Rs denying climate change. When the evidence became undeniable that ... then Xer and Millennial Rs shifted to solution skepticism so the status quo remains. Market failures in private healthcare are undeniable & Cuban is distracting from evidence based solutions

Weird how all Mark’s plans involve him or those in a similar position making even more money. Take the profits out of healthcare and you’ll get rid of the billionaires too.

Why is EVERYONE making it so difficult? Just buyout the top, CEOs &board members. Take all the data, trained staff, and computer infrastructure and give all social security number holders an account! It’s not f’cking rocket science!

We played a game tonight with friends where you're given a sentence and you have to use little magnet words to come up with an answer. One of mine was "Tell everyone how you feel about billionaires". My answer was one word: "Consume"

He's honest like Warren Buffet. Warren, he came right out and said that taxes weren't even fair. Along with a few other things. He's not like these greedy billionaires. He also donated to Ukraine. I watch their actions before I throw them in a collective frog pot. Who and what they donate too.

He nailed it. The biggest economic issue we face is one of monopoly and lack of competition in almost all sectors of the economy and neither party not even Bernie or AOC are discussing it in a substantive way. Anti trust laws have not been enforced for nearly 40 years

The market doesn't compete for the sick or dying. Or risk covering a low pop district where 1 cancer patient is a loss. That is why Medicare exists, to address a market failure. M4A is substantial in addressing well established market failures and creates competition as a public option.

That's good! It's why Ds and voters are pushing for Medicare for All. It must exist first for all ages to allow for a public option. Opponents demonize M4A because the moment employers/individuals are allowed to CHOOSE between a for profit middleman and a public option ... it debunks their myths
