Early voting in Texas starts on October 19th. Vote early. Voting early allows you to find out if there is a problem with your registration and will give you time to fix it if it needs to be fixed.

Isn't it a law that you are entitled to register on the spot & then cast your ballot? I got to do that in WI when they weirdly never got my registration 5 times in a row.

I live in Michigan and have signed up for mail in ballots. I always receive my ballot through the mail very timely. Since 2016, I take my completed ballot directly to my city clerk’s office and physically hand it to them. I then check my ballot’s status on Michigan.gov. It’s easy and safe. So far.

Does Texas not have a free and efficient election app run by their state election board that Texans can use to easily confirm their registration, get accurate voting choices and candidate info for their location? That’s how we do in Canada anyway.
