When farage tells him

Possibly the most embarrassing moment I have ever watched, was Starmers grovelling phone call to the Oval office as trump bullied him into a tax agreement, Starmer was so proud to be the first to kowtow to the wannabe dictator, and now he simply looks like just another trump apologist. Traitor!

You assume Starmer wants to support Palestine. But what we actually see is that he says things happy in the knowledge that Trump won’t do them or let him do them.

Part of the problem is that Starmer agrees with Trump on a lot of things.

I think Starmer got the short end of the straw when European leaders decided America was no longer a viable ally. He got the "kiss the Turd's arse" assignment to distract him while the others form alliances elsewhere.

Any leader who bends the knee to a bully like the 🍊🤡 is NOT A LEADER. It is disgusting to witness such fealty.

Trump just behaves like a mob boss. If you give in to his crazy demands, or grovel to him, he will just think up an even crazier demand.

Add in a modest bit of tariff reduction and you've hit the nail on the head. I think Starter was exactly right to sacrifice some dignity to protect lives in Ukraine and jobs in Britain.

FFS. I have my serious criticisms of Starmer but he is not 'grovelling' to Trump, he is doing what his peers are & that is placating Trump in public to mitigate at least some of the damage caused by the random shite he throws out whilst strengthening relations with other nations.

I hope sooner rather than later

Starmer is hardly in control. Even when he asserts himself it doesn't really go anywhere. He has made himself an enemy of the reviving left, partly thanks to Reeves and Cooper, but is the handmaiden of the right whether he realises or not. Trump, well... enough said.
