i have a 9-year-old adopted sister who was at one point into katseye (maybe still is? children seem to change their opinions on such things on unfathomably short timescales). glad to understand a bit better what exactly is going on over there in that world. well-written article.

thank you! that's another angle of the whole thing i feel like i didn't even get into - the capricious taste of kids. i guess they're trying to infuse the extreme loyalty of kpop fandom into the mix, but it doesn't work as well when the ladies keep dropping out for months at a time...
