Oh, very cool. Generations is still one of the best looking Star Trek films. I'm guessing the heat was a CGI element?

The astounding bass that rumbled and shook the late and lamented Uptown Theatre in Toronto in 1994 during this sequence remains one of my favourite moviegoing experiences 👍🏼

Ouf I did it years ago. Main part probably a featurette, then added storyboard and music. I think.

I remember calling my local theater to get showtimes so I could see it! Can't believe it's been that long! Or to quote the film: "I was never that young..."

Oh man. I am so excited. My daughters are 7 episodes away from the end of S7. I have been BURSTING AT THE SEAMS with how excited I am to get to Generations. I have been told repeatedly “don’t spoil ANYTHING dad!” so they have NO IDEA.

Yeah, but I really wish it was in the rest of the TNG movies. I never warmed up to the E.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this scene unfold on the big screen when the film came out in the cinema.
