๐งต๐จ๐งต MEGATHREAD WARNING ๐งต๐จ๐งต
Brace yourselves for a thread of some of the bigger threads I've posted on here. These are all impossibly niche and littered with an embarrassing amount of typos. You have been warned.
1. My magnum opus is certainly this thread about the fonts of Star Trek
#StarTrek Fonts: The Thread
This thread is going to cover the official typefaces used for on-screen titles and marketing materials etc. Not in-universe graphics, alien scripts or any of that.

Another Tiny Glade build. I enjoy the virtual photography as much as the building. I've not been in the frame of mind to do any graphics work lately, so I may as well share what I have been making. ๐
With my last build I forgot to give it good sight lines, so from the outset I gave this city some very deliberate views which I was careful to preserve. I filled the map with little environmental stories. I had a lot of fun making this one.
The Pegasus concept by Sternbach was to reuse Ent-C parts.
I was really curious it would look like if it was made from Probert Ent-C parts instead.
I made really rough mock up using parts from the STO model to get an idea of the end result.
[I believe the original STO model is by Tobias Richter]

My first Tiny Glade diorama. I love these kinds of builder games and I was sad that this one didn't have a Mac version, but apparently they added one in a recent update so now I get to play!
Townscaper was another favourite in this genre. It was the first game I saw that cleverly generated variety through unique combinations of basic elements.
You can still play the Townscaper demo online. I think it has most of the same features, just a smaller world canvas.

Among all the stuff I did for "They Were Bunkmates: A Marinler Fanzine Volume 3" this is perhaps my most favorite, I had so much fun making this! You can download the zine and donate at dub.sh/marinler26
The proceeds go to actionkivu.org#StarTrek#StarTrekLowerDecks#BeckettMariner#BradBoimler
More info on that new feature in case you had missed it. It'll be interesting to see if they remove the ability to have clickable text links in your bio later, because that would be extra nefarious.

I hate how everything is Ai now. Earlier I searched for playing card dimensions and found this on a printing company website. Did they not even look at the output? Did they not have the two minutes to spare to fix it? Do customers see this and still hire them?
Somehow the second image is worse. Has a technology this deeply flawed ever been so enthusiastically embraced before? It's like if when the calculator was invented it got 20% of sums wrong but everyone used it anyway.

Herman Melville in the movie theater watching STAR TREK IV, arms crossed, verbally scoffing at the visual depiction of the whales, then leaving in a huff when the ship decloaks and prevents the whalers from killing the whales near the end.
I have, once again, commissioned @ncc-60205.bsky.social to put a bit of Star Trek into Star Wars. This time in the form of a Starfleet issue lightsaber!
I'm calling it the Type 2-S Phaser (you can probably guess what the S stands for).
My first Magic card art was shown today! #MTGxStarTrek
