Will save files from Chapters 3 and 4 on Switch 1 be transferable up to the switch 2 version? I have a switch 2 that will be here on launch day but I dont want to wait to play the game, so if I started chapter 3 on switch 1 would it be compatible with the switch 2 version?

I don’t know if Toby Fox talked about this in a newsletter or not, but I assume a physical edition would be problematic at this time, when all chapters are not out yet, making the game have you download the other chapters. That could also be possible though, but I more expect the former.

Apologies for just attempting to catch your attention in a bluesky reply, but with regard to the Nintendo cross-buy, will they use different save files? If I start playing the game on Nintendo Switch on the 4th, but then try to play it on Switch 2 on the 5th, will my save file not transfer?

Predictions so far... Yes the sounds and the size of the nombers + texts definetly implies a branched timeline possible aka weird route, but people why nobody talks the possibility of a good "wierd" route I mean the dess guitar in chapter 5 could liiteraly mean that we find her and most likely...

take her back to hometown... I dont see this happening in a wierd route with frozen chiken, imagine having the possibility of saving her but you need noelle but she isnt there...you need a good one, maybe a wierd route deffinition its just a "branched timeline" of deltarune story, bad or wrong.

Something i have though since chapter 2 its that in a continued wierd route we may directly cause the death of rudy... there are dialogs of noelle in the hospital saying that she wishes the world had magic so she could cure him with a spell (i dont remember the exact dialog but you understand)

Ok, so i see us actually being able (chapter 4) to cure him maybe ralsei can and noelke does it herself idk thats something else, but if she is there after a wierd route I can expect rudy to notice something wrong and try to defend her from us, which... may lead him to his death...

I'm thinking more of a "They talk, WE don't hear". Specifically. It's like we don't get the privilege of "Hearing their voice", because of the weird circumstances. I propose, since we were just supposed to control the vessel, those controls wouldn't be ready to show the body's OWN "text boxes"

You accidentally made me realize something... The game Mother 3 (Third Earthbound game that never officially saw the west) had parts where you're controlling other characters... Then they're suddenly a "Silent main character" just because you're controlling them Kris could be that, but very literal

TO GET TO "ROMB" (sometimes chapter 3 it happend to me first time i tryied to do it) IS GO TO ALTERNATE PATH THEN WHATS NEXT AT BOTOM AND THEN CLICK DOOR THAN THE RED PART THINGY AT THE MIDDLE. SIMPLY CLICK THE NEW DOOR AND UR THERE

Interesting detail I see: At the bottom where it usually says why you're signed up to the mailing list, it's got black areas where the words "signed up" & "UNDERTALE / DELTARUNE" are missing.... 😶 "You are getting this email because you for the Mailing List." Can you click on the spaces?

Anything if you drag your mouse & highlight the message? Hidden text or images? Screenshot & take into an art program & mess with brightness/contrast for hidden messages or images? Check the code with right-click>Inspect? What text did you put in (besides email address)? Maybe this reflects that?

I answered the "how long did it take her to smile?" title question by guessing "Two weeks", so I wonder if it'll be 2 weeks before I get a message...? (And with another email address I answered something like "Quite a while", so I wonder how that will go, heh...)

Yeah! I got a black screen because I inputted my e-mail twice. If you'd put a number in the box, it'd tell what your answer was on the e-mail regarding the "how long did it take her to smile" question. My friend inputted his phone number and got the answer back converted to minutes.
