Time to end this fake presidency. Perp walk that pedophile into a concrete cell and let him sit until he has no breath left. Trump is a criminal evading prosecution for sex crimes against children, treason, sedition and war crimes. The evidence is overwhelming and public knowledge. Act now.

If you buy these as audiobooks through Libro.FM, you can make sure that a percent of your purchase goes to you're nearest black owned book store. Though obviously if you want physical copies, you can just go to the bookstore and they'll make even more money

#10 is so key for white people (like me). We have drilled this in at home with the kids and I’ve tried with other family as well. “Being racist” is not the same as “being A racist”.

I have read some of these books. Sometimes scary and real informative. I’ve to go thru this video a few times to write down the books I haven’t read! Or save it, right!😅

Thank you for the list. A few of mine, just a regular person, not exceptiona. Everything by Toni Morrison, Dr. King, Malcol, Frederick Douglass. these works changed me.

Excellent list! I recommend Caste and 1619 to Everyone! Even if they don't usually read political books, I'm like they aren't political, this is just basic civics we should've been taught. I would add Elie Mystal's books. It's also basic civics and constitutional rights and laws we should all know.

Awesome reading list. I recommend Half American by Matt Delmont. It delves into how black Americans were integral to the success of WWII. It shines a light on how Nazis actually took inspiration from the American South, and the hypocrisy of white hegemony back home.

Thank you for more books for my list! As a millennial white male I can honestly say that The Autobiography of Malcolm X opened my eyes and really started to deprogram me. Then Stamped blew my mind. Stamped from the Beginning by Jason Reynolds makes it even more accessible.

A great reading list that all of us who say we care about democracy and the reality of the moment should read and broaden our understanding of this country.

A nation that dehumanizes Black Americans, people of color, women, children and the vulnerable at large is betraying its own promise. Racism is not a flaw at the margins, it is a threat to democracy itself. Confront prejudice now, or watch it consume the country we claim to love. ☮️

I grew up in a White 1950's bubble. My 7th grade teacher, Sister Francine, gave me a summer reading list in the '60s which included " Black Like Me". It Woke me up..including,"To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Diary of Anne Frank".

Black like me was an eye opener. Then I read Malcolm X, and came away with even greater respect for him. And, I was a kid from the50’s, blessed to grow up in Puerto Rico and attend a Methodist school.

Great list! Some I’ve read, some are on my list, some are new to me. But there’s one I loved - Elie Mystal ‘Allow Me To Retort-A Black Mans Guide to the Constitution’. I also like his follow up book ‘Bad Law’. Happy reading!

I would add 'Radical Chic & Mau-Mauing the Flak Catchers' & 'Huckleberry Finn' White people shouldn't read that classic aloud anymore but, Twain skewered the nastiness of white racism with shrewd, piercing humor and it is a great read. The staged tragedy with the king and the duke is insuperable.
