What part don't you understand? That I'd rather support an innovative and creative studio directly, rather than a multi-billion dollar faceless corporation that would only give them a fraction of the sales?

Excellent news, very happy for them! SoM is a very decent game, honestly. It got crapped on for not reinventing the wheel, but it's still a fun, enjoyable game with a really good story and a great soundtrack/score

You should. A delightful game. Feels like a 360/PS3 era adventure game (in both good & bad) which is fun. It also has fffffantastic music & is absolutely gorgeous. Big recommendation.

Agree - I think some of the gameplay itself wasn't really earth shattering or anything "new". But that story, the writing, the acting, the music, the artwork....just stunning work!

I was thinking the same thing. I wasn't having a bad time when I first played it on Game Pass after it came out but it got lost in the shuffle of my backlog and other distractions. If there's a chance there's a physical copy for Switch 2 in the near future I'm gonna support them forsure!

The amount of racist misogyny that targeted this game's release was absurd. If the game were reskinned as a white male redneck character living in the South, the same reviewers who hated it would suddenly love everything about it.

Those "critic reviews" are written by fake gamers. Real gamers who actually play games when they review them target the game. No one gives a shit what Metacritic or some other fraudulent jackass factory has to say.

The game has a 78 on Metacritic, this game is not a nine or 10 out of 10 game. Eight out of 10 seems pretty fair, no? Like it’s got a great aesthetic, but mechanically and story wise, it’s nothing tremendous.

Pretty much every reviewer plays the game and then talks about their experience. Lying is one thing but claiming they didn't play the game at all is extremely silly. Just because they didn't have the exact same experience you would have had, doesn't mean their experience isn't still valuable.

This game was one of the greatest games ever made and they DISNT even try too hard. Story was pretty good and the combat and mechanics were pretty fluid and awesome. I’ve beaten this game twice already 🙂‍↕️
