The Beach Boys' music helped me through the traumatic years of high school, dating, finding a job, getting married and starting a family. Their music catalog was the theme for a large part of my life. Thank you, Brian! RIP

A genius who's music reached a 15 year old boy growing up in Wales, somewhere that couldn't be more different to Southern California. Music that stayed with me through my life, the honour of seeing them live in Wembley Arena in the late 1980s I will never forget. R.I.P. Brian Wilson, thank you.

His music has carried me in my lowest times, a balm on my soul. His music has made the sweet times even sweeter. Just listening to Pet Sounds and Lucky Old Sun was enough to find a path out of sadness. I will be listening today

Awwwww....shit. What a life that man led. And the demons he dealt with. A true American legend. And a musical genius. The Beach Boys were my first concert. 14 years old, took a bus and went on my own. It was magic.

In 1975, I went to the Chicago/Beach Boys concert at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Beach Boys played first, and then Chicago took the stage. Halfway through their second song. 75,000 fans kept shouting for the Beach Boys, and they came out again and played 2 more songs before Chicago could continue. ❤️

The underseen & underappreciated 2014 biopic of Wilson, ‘Love and Mercy’ is a highly inventive original work of art itself. With Wilson played by both Paul Dano and John Cusack at different ages, and Paul Giamatti as Dr. Landy, it’s deeply insightful and respectful of Wilson’s art & life struggles.

Music that made you smile. Made you think of summer, the beach, and hanging out with your friends. Makes you think of good times and good memories. Thank you, Mr. Wilson. R.I.P.

My very 1st concert it the age 12 without my parents looking over my shoulder was The Little Rascals and headliner Beach Boys. (I went with my older cousin. Dropped off by my mom.) Tickets cost $3.50 ea. At age 13 I started surfing. Like a Flintstone took 3 of us to carry the board to the water.

Saw the group at Saratoga Performing Arts Center years ago. He is at peace now. So much suffering and such a musical genius. Gifted, talented and creative. In My Room is my favorite Beach Boys song. Thank you, Brian, for all you gave us. RIP
