Before I got Systemic Lupus Erythematodes & other chronic diseases in 1992, when I´d still been a teenie in the 1980s, I´d volunteered at our local shelter here in SW Germany. The dogs and cats were so grateful for every kiss, for every time I petted them or walked the pups. (I´m 54 & disabled) 😍😍😍

Love that! I rescued a shelter pup last Thanksgiving. He ducks away when I try to kiss or cuddle him, but he’ll happily lick me to the end of time 🥹😭

ps. That border collie at the end is heartbreaking. He barely crawls over to her, like he's terrified. I had a border collie once. They (and any other animal) don't deserve to be afraid just be be loved.

They don't want much. They just want love, and sometimes all it takes is a kiss, as this video shows. Who knows if these pups have ever had simple love and kisses before.

I have a shelter adopted beagle who acts like these guys when given a big hug Please adopt when you can .These dogs and cats deserve a chance, make wonderful pets , already house broken and get along with kids . Many are surrendered bc the owner got sick or died and family didn't want the pet .
