Oh this made me laugh and cry at the same time. My late bestest-boy Mojo made lots and lots of biscuits while suckling on his blanket. All the way up until his death at 12 years old.

so i havent really seen anyone post the true reason for this. no it is not learned behavior from cats and no it is not becuase a dog was taken from its mother too soon. any dog can do this its just not common. its a self soothing behavior, something they find calming. its also adorable.

I hand raised Charlie. He was from a litter of 4. He would not wean. He was 3 1/2months old still refusing to eat cat food and screaming for his bottle. The other 3 were long past that nonsense. He sucks on blankets and kneads daily. Has done it for 4 years. He’s just whiny like that. Cute though.
