living with a cat is mostly just having random cardboard boxes everywhere that you can’t throw out

My departed Pepper had zero interest in boxes. She was very strange. She'd eat the tape off them though. That and plastic bags. I had to be cautious because that's not so good for the whole digestive tract

Every couple of weeks I have to do a box purge. It’s a sad day. But it’s soon replaced with the joy of New Box Day, which often comes with catnip. 😼

I make wax paper balls and put them in old Kleenex boxes (plastic removed). The cats play with the balls inside the boxes, take them out… a simple cat toy to make, that they all love!

Olive Jean doesn’t like boxes, or bags, or catnip. She likes to bite and growl and hiss. She baps a lot, too. She chooses violence every time!

Looking right now at 5 cardboad boxes in the LR, there are 6 on the way to the kitchen, there is an enormous one in the foyer, and there is one on the desk in the office. We have 2 cats. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it.

I've only been with Collie for three weeks now, but this is so true. I buy her everything, but she's currently sitting in an upturned box with a blanket, sleeping but able to look right at me. I have another upturned box, which I have dubbed "The Trap House" where I leave little bits of catnip.
