President Donald Trump on Wednesday said that he would pay $5,000 to every American if Republicans retained control of the U.S. House and Senate in the midterm elections, seemingly in an effort to incentivize votes for his party. www.wired.com/story/trump-...

The goal is obviously not to actually implement this measure, but to frame the debate and force the Democratic opposition to take a stand against it. If the measure fails, the narrative is ready-made: "We wanted to give you back your money, but the opposition blocked the check." Pure corruption

If he’s doing so well as he claims then why would he need to resort to bribery and yet more corruption. Yeah, silly question. I know the answer. 🥴

And here children is why the fucking democrats under the Biden administration should have sent his ass packing for the Jan. 6 insurrection. This sad attempt at blatant corruption is literally one of the plot lines of “It Can’t Happen Here” among many others that have already come to pass.

They can’t be all that dumb. The question is why they believe him! It’s always easier to just believe than it is to use your brain to question and analyze! If a stranger wants to give you something you accept it rather than question it. Only when demands are wanted does one start questioning! Crazy❗️

👀 mas a questão não está em se ele vai pagar ou não e sim na ILEGALIDADE da proposta, certo? Porque não estão falando disso abertamente..?

"Here is my promise: If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate," Trump said, "I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000." www.wired.com/story/trump-...

"That alone should win the midterms," he added. The outlandish remarks came midway through Trump's at times freewheeling speech at the Republican midterm convention the GOP is holding in Texas, and were quickly shot down as unaffordable. www.wired.com/story/trump-...

Federal law strictly prohibits attempts to influence a person's vote through money or anything of value. Federal Law 18 U.S.C. § 597: it is a crime to offer, give, solicit, or accept compensation in exchange for voting, withholding a vote, or voting for or against a particular candidate.

Here’s the deal. He gets votes from the ones who believe him. He knows Dems will take the house. Then he says I tried to pay you but democrats wouldn’t let me.If repubs win, what any citizen thinks is irrelevant for all time.

At 276.8 million adults in America, that's $1.384 trillion. The biggest bribe offer ever. But that'll come out of our pockets eventually through taxes or inflation.
