Neutrino networking is actually not such a bad idea, provided you can ACTUALLY get that good at detecting them, then it would be ideal for low latency low bandwidth applications like geolocation of fast moving targets

But cooling your equipment is going to be a bitch. Unless you build a tunnel from the centre of the Earth to just below Antarctica, Greenland and the Arctic to cool down the servers. Maybe someone's already done that. That could explain why the poles are heating faster than anywhere else.

This raises a question: how far would the Voyager spacecraft need to be to have a *lower* effective bitrate to DSN than a hypothetical neutrino link (with the ~100% detection losses) across the Earth?
