“Sickening racism and vulgar politics” is on-point summation of the Susan Collins 2026 campaign. Kudos to Stevens Collins (no relation) for abandoning his long-time deference to the Senator and describing how far she has fallen.

Now, having the felon remove a few tariffs that affect Maine, she will be even more beholden to him. I really hope people can see the true damage she's doing to her constituents.

Today marks the deadliest mass shooting in Maine’s history. In 2023, a gunman armed with a Ruger AR-10 rifle and high-capacity magazines opened fire in a bowling alley and a bar in Lewiston. Eighteen people were killed, including four deaf people, and 13 others were wounded.

I have commented elsewhere that this looks like a much better climate for protesting than November in Maine. We'll still be out there, for sure, but, well, jus' sayin'....

My latest heating oil bill is over $800 for a little over half a tank. Last year it would have been $475. We are still paying off medical bills, with more to come. There has to be a serious revolt against this pillaging. Like many others, I've got little to lose. Rs need to grasp that.

Fixed it for you, Paul. LePage is lying about his record. He vetoed Medicaid expansion 6 times. He cut funding for rural hospitals. He cut Meals on Wheels. He refused to fund Alzheimer's care. He called Social Security "welfare, pure and simple." Maine seniors can't afford him in Congress.

Anyway this story came out three weeks ago today. Susan Collins and her team have engaged in a lot of hand-waving and false umbrage-taking...but other than a couple weak feints that have since been debunked, they haven't disputed let alone rebutted any of the article's key claims. #MEpolitics

"One Nation" is airing radio ads about how great it is that Two-Term Susie Collins has introduced a bipartisan bill to fund pregnancy emergencies...after she voted to slash Medicaid funding that caused the closure of half our maternity wards. They think I'm stupid.

Here in Maine our heating oil is well over $6/gal and oil companies are reporting record profits. Hey, Two-Term Susie? Jared Golden? What are YOU doing about it? You didn't work to stop this crap, you supported the criminal enterprise and corruption that is now fleecing all of us.

We can't keep paying the human and economic costs of the Trump administration's mass deportation crusade. A broad path to citizenship would create hundreds of thousands of new jobs, generate an estimated $1.7 trillion in GDP growth, and raise wages for everyone. It's the right move for all of us.
