BTW, the American Federation for Children got over $10 MILLION in funding for a national “awareness campaign” promoting MAGA's new taxpayer-funded school privatization scheme. So if your feed suddenly fills up with glowing posts about the “Education Freedom Tax Credit," that's why. Example:

Mentions of "Fauci" on X have mostly vanished since the data centers in Russia were destroyed by Ukrainian bombs. SMITE!💥

Registered! Happy birthday to you, Charlotte! (Honestly, the 40s are pretty good.)

Friends, I'm turning 40 tomorrow. I can't celebrate now because I'm too damn busy with the election. I'll celebrate afterward. So, to help me celebrate now, please--oh, please--check your voter registration. It takes a few moments. It's easy. Do it for me: midterms.voteamerica.org/vote/verify/...

A lot of what’s happening doesn’t seem to be spreading anymore by mainstream media. A tree that stood for an estimated 150–250 years was destroyed today to make way for Trump’s border wall.

Even though the need for blood wasn’t what we thought it would be because so many souls perished, I figured it shouldn’t take a national emergency for me to roll up my sleeve. Anyone who needs blood from another person is not having their best day. I’ve been a donor ever since.

Now, more than two decades later, in a weird twist of fate, I’m being honored for advocating for blood donation. I can’t think of a more meaningful full-circle moment. It’s funny what we carry with us from days we hope never to experience again, and how sometimes something good can grow out of them.

My sister called and woke me up that morning, telling me to turn on the news. We all have similar stories. That day, I decided to donate blood for the very first time. I’d always been too chicken. Some things give you the courage you need, and for me, it was September 11, 2001.

I drove to the North Seattle Bloodworks NW clinic (then known as the Puget Sound Blood Center), but the line of donors was out the door and wrapped around the block. They had more donors than they could accommodate and asked folks to come back another day. So I did.

She got an assignment today to talk to someone about September 11th, so, typically last minute, she came to me moments before going to bed and asked about that day. I realized I haven’t really thought about it in a long time.

DoorDash has been silent as ICE detains and murders their delivery drivers. But to avoid a 20-cent tax on delivery orders, DoorDash is now backing a bill that would give Trump more authority over DC and its residents. Delete your account until DoorDash stops fighting to give the regime more power.

It's hard to fathom that anyone thinks ICE can be reformed or retrained. ICE needs to be dismantled and then cauterized so it can't grow back. #AbolishICE

When your party leader is a president with historically low approval ratings, who has raised prices through tariffs and wars, uses disaster relief and science grants to punish states that didn’t vote for him, and has agents shooting people in the streets, this is what you do.

Canadian plane dropping water on the Los Angeles forest fire. Neighbors helping neighbors. Thank you so much Canada, we are sorry our current leader is an idiot.

Kids need every chance we can give them to beat #childhoodcancer. Researchers need to look under every stone and explore every avenue toward cures. When politics stands in the way of lifesaving research, children pay the price. As a cancer mom and research advocate, this is infuriating.

TINA SMITH: Researchers in MN made a breakthrough in childhood cancer in Black kids with a grant. But it seems that according to your proposed rule, this type of research wouldn't allowed bc it's 'DEI.' VOUGHT: We are against DEI policies. We have intended to rid of them whenever we possibly can.

All of these can be true at the same time: 1) The suspension reversal was corrupt 2) No FIFA rules were violated (Art 27) 3) Art 27 is ridiculous 4) This is not nearly FIFA's most corrupt action 5) FIFA's history of corruption doesn't justify this corruption 6) The red card by VAR was BS
