Great to see so many people this week out supporting Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid — an organization that provides legal services to Minnesotans in need. Thank you to keynote speaker Neal Katyal, whose commitment to the rule of law inspires lawyers across the country.

Those of us in the pro-democracy movement can and should hold both of these positions. 1. We unequivocally reject violence. 2. We will unequivocally oppose efforts by this administration to use last night as an excuse to try to suppress criticism and criminalize dissent.

This week had some genuine bright spots. Trump's approval is down in the 30s and still dropping. Democrats are surging in the polls, and Virginia voters just handed them a redistricting win worth four new House seats. Oh, and The Onion now owns InfoWars. Gotta love the universe's sense of humor.
