"climate crisis, technological dependency and threats by hostile state" all seem like the primary responsibilities of a government, but Lab's answer.. Climate - drill more ff Tech- employ Palantir & build US data centres Hostile state- cosy to Iran bombing Trump www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
Whoops! BBC news have, 'accidentally' (or decided it's not relevant to their aim of pleasing Reform & their voters), missed another example of Reform being unfit for democratic politics: Racism, misogyny & financially www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
Oops, another BBC News miss- 3 strike-outs in one week! If we ever thought we were paying the license fee for impartiality they've proved again & again to be nothing but a platform for the establishment right wing. Is there no legal for challenge for this? www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Yet another vindication of leaving Labour after 40+yrs of defending the indefensible As suspected Burnham is Starmer with PR Owned by Finance Capital Lab is dead as a solution to the challenges of the country & the world This is the end of the honeymoon Any decent 'Still Labs' must now Go Green asap
Today's decision by Labour to approve new drilling in the North Sea is climate vandalism. It's a betrayal of all of our futures, and Labour has abandoned all credibility in the fight against climate change. This is a victory for Shell over the people. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cw...

'Reform stating they are 'anti-racist' is like a dog walking on its hind legs - it is not done at all well, but one is surprised to see it done at all!' with thanks to SJ www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
An amazing historical example- Lancashire mill workers in 1862 experienced famine due to their solidarity against slavery. A reminder that it wasn't the 'English' who were colonialists it was the English ruling class. www.theguardian.com/news/2026/oc...

The hypocrisy of the UK govt laid bare. Defence minister @lukepollard.bsky.social (talking about the Houthis & Iran): "You are responsible if you fire a missile at a civilian target.. countries should not have their civilian infrastructure targeted by extremists or by another state"
Re City: Infrastructure is excluded from the new regs. Why? because the old regs were anti-competitive & bad Only way for fair financing on the pitch is a "squad cost cap" allowing clubs to invest to compete. As the video says- the new rules still there to protect the status quo ie: already wealthy.
New football financial regs still there to defend the 'status quo'- ie: the clubs that are already wealthy: www.youtube.com/shorts/u_CXF...
Are we to go another 50 years with only Liverpool, Arsenal, United, Chelsea having the resources to win the Premier League? "Squad cost Cap" to replace investment ban - now! www.instagram.com/reel/DeU8Fei...

Shame on the Guardian! This is a non-story, it's a media pile-on for a very specific purpose - the defence of zionism. I wouldn't have voted for the unamended motion either but its thrust has made it the closest party to the truth by far. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
No less than 7 anti-Zack headlines on the home page of the Guardian today plus this awful inditement of the paper- shame, shame, on you! www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
A centralised 'nationalisation' of water is not enough. I must be publicly owned but also controlled by the people who are affected by each regional company- consumers, environmentalists, employees, tech/managers. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

Thread shut- All billionaires are bad. Totally agree with banning them all- equally! Your billionaire gives money to Trump so don't mention children & Epstein. And no-one supports Trump without supporting his attempted destruction of democracy, his wars & vital support for Netanyahu. Ban them all!
lol. Well ok, if you want to go there. My billionaire is not killing children. You next
