To get personal for a moment: Losing my house set Deductopia back a full year. But settlements won't compensate me because I can't prove that Deductopia would have made money. Buying Deductopia when it comes out will help prove my job is real work. store.steampowered.com/app/4429720/...

I'm sorry but if someone like me with critically terrible math skills can make a game from the ground up from literally nothing in 6502 Assembly without prior knowledge of it, under 4K for a console from 1977 where you can't simply put a pixel exactly where you want—you don't need to use AI.

All I can think when I see this is that in 20 years time, someone will be posting Ugandan Knuckles as retro Art like this, and that idea is hilarious

Sexual and gender diversity is undeniably a thing that our species does, in any cultural environment. And we are certainly not alone in this. Nature is profoundly queer and restlessly inventive. https://bit.ly/4eixs0Z

It's with a very heavy heart that we share the news of YoYo Games founder and original CEO, Sandy Duncan's passing. GameMaker would not be where it is today without Sandy and our hearts are with his family at this very difficult time. Rest in peace. www.linkedin.com/posts/sandyd...

My secret hobby is naming games with a title so specific that it's the only result on Google for it. I like to think in 100 years time somebody will have an intense burst of hatred for the Floor, do a rage induced Google search and stumble upon my masterpiece as the only result.

Guillermo del Toro on wealth: "a wealthy man is a man who has enough, not a man that needs more. If you have enough to invite someone for a beer? You're rich. If you have a yacht, planes, islands, and you still need more? You're not rich."

Egg.

Looks like people are really interested in Kings these last few days. Must be a sudden surge in Historians studying the monarchy for some reason

How am I just finding out now that "It's Morbin Time" is an actual thing Jared Leto says in Morbius. I genuinely thought that was just the internet making fun of the movie by making up bad dialogue
