NYU canceled a talk by the former president of Doctors Without Borders because she intended to mention the high number of deaths of aid workers in Gaza, and Trump/Musk’s destruction of USAID. “Antisemitic” and “anti-governmental” to say this ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/215...

I was told I was overreacting. Now they’re about to fire 83,000 people from the VA. A third of whom are veterans themselves.

Allison Gill@muellershewrote.com

If you're a Veteran and you get your healthcare from the VA, please make appointments with your PCP and specialists before January 20th, and make sure to update all your vaccines and order your meds.

One thing that most people are missing in the group text scandal: The Trump officials don’t appear clear on what *exactly* Trump approved, which is a huge problem in using military force. Stephen Miller says “as I heard it … green light.” 😱😬 www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/six-short-...

Speak out. Organize. Across all the silos. They are testing to see what they can get away with.

NEWS: Last night, the Department of Homeland Security detained a Palestinian who helped lead the Columbia encampment. Agents told him his visa was revoked. He said he had a green card. They were confused—then said that was revoked too. His attorney demanded a warrant. Agents hung up instead.

Get up, stand up. The arrest and disappearance of Mahmoud Khalil, a prominent Palestinian activist who helped lead Columbia University's 2024 student encampment protests, is an authoritarian power-move, an assault on the US constitution and the first amendment.

Drunk on power and ketamine. This is Musk and the foreign minister of Poland. This is what I mean about Musk as the "over-mighty subject". His power is too great for anyone else to be fully free.

As Americans we’re trained from childhood: 1) to believe in the primacy of individualism, and 2) to obey. Neither helps us with the present moment. We need to join together, figure out the collective action we must take for a democratic future, & disobey all things that interfere with just that.

Something is shifting. They are still breaking things and stealing things. And they will keep trying to break and to steal. But the propaganda magic around the oligarchical coup is fading. (1/2)

The whole of America need to reset. It just can't continue until that occurs. News is not great and getting worse. The "anything we can get" has to die and start over with "anything we can do"

It’s been a long fucking day, I’m tired, and I misspoke. Let me rephrase it in a more correct way. Fuck Hakeem Jeffries and almost every other elected Democratic official for forcing me to be the one to get arrested instead of them doing their goddamn job and being leaders.

Inspired by the abolitionist and civil rights movements, Get Free is mobilizing young people to turn campuses and communities into freedom beacons that defy Trump-Musk’s authoritarian power grabs.

After publishing this story, which features a picture of the protest at Children's National in DC, I have been informed that moments ago, Childrens National in DC has resumed transgender care. The hospital protests worked! Keep doing them!

1. Good news: Multiple hospitals are resuming trans care under 19 years old after Trump's trans ban was blocked temporarily in court. Writer Mira Lazine reports on hospitals in Arizona, Michigan, and Virginia restarting care. Not all hospitals have, though. Subscribe to support our journalism.
