Gina Rinehart Part 17 The rock is dug out of Australian soil. Australian workers operate the machines. Australian ports load the ships. But the price of the rock is not negotiated by Australians. It is not set by the Australian government. It is calculated by a private London firm, using a half-hour

Was just playing some Street Fighter Alpha 3 (Dreamcast version). Never got around to buying it back in the day. Gotta get my head around this ism business. I'm just a casual fighting game player. I'm thinking I'll just stick to a-ism. I'll give the world tour mode a go next.

The flies have been relentless this past week. I do not like when the air is thick with flies. They love getting inhaled for some reason.

#BREAKING 🚨 Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says Indi MP Helen Haines was "attacked" when she was struck by a vehicle outside her electorate office in Victoria earlier this afternoon, with one suspect in custody "We are praying for her full recovery...the motive is not known"

After watching #StreetFighter on Saturday, this weeks viewing at home will be Street Fighter Assassins Fist, Street Fighter II The Movie, and Street Fighter IV The Ties That Bind. For such a popular and enduring franchise, I'm amazed there isn't sooooo much more home media featuring it.

I also have SFII V the series to watch, but i'm not going to bother trying to find the American cartoon show. It seems pretty terrible. Might give those Alpha anime movies a watch though when i get through the rest.

Well that movie was something. I loved it, but it has some issues. Still a lot of fun. Will watch again.

About to watch Street Fighter at the cinema. Let's fckn go!

Anyone who went back to Insiders while The Sunday Shot was on hiatus can rejoice. It's back. Also, don't go back to Insiders anyway because it's shit. It will always be shit. Support indie media. #auspol

Sunday Shot is back this morning with me, Jo Dyer, editor of Deepcut News Antoun Issa, and founder of Cheek Media and indie candidate for Grayndler Hannah Ferguson. Starts at 9am on YouTube if you wanna hop in the live chat.

When olives are one of your last agricultural resources, how incredibly cruel to have them destroyed by “settlers” for no other reason than to make your life there unliveable. While beating up a foreign photo-journalist. Aided and abetted by Israeli soldiers.

Gina Rinehart Part 13 Student politics in that period functioned as a recruitment and training ground. Officeholders debated publicly, organised national campaigns, contested control of funded student bodies and developed relationships with parliamentary parties. A wealthy political family

The Looney Tunes Show, the 2011 animated sitcom is a hidden gem of a show. Apart from the song interludes to keep the kids entertained which are wildly different in tone to the show proper, I highly recommend giving it a watch if cartoons are your thing. It's a shame this show only lasted 2 seasons.

Daffy is irredeemably narcissistic & sociopathic, and this is my favourite depiction of the character. Give me this over the wackadoo original depictions of him any day. He is so horrible to everyone all the time, and somehow they still tolerate him. It's bonkers, but it's great comedy.

We live in a timeline where the villains' prime modus operandi is being as stupid as possible because they worked out we can't fight stupid. We just can't. Facts, logic, shame, pointing out hypocrisy, none of it works in the face of pure deliberate idiocy. It's a winning formula for some reason.

It was 1996. My younger cousin wanted to copy me & get a Sega Saturn & even then I could see things not working out for Sega, so I convinced him to get a PS1 instead. It also gave me access to both 32bit systems until i could afford my own PS1. That startup music is by far my favourite of all time

But the PS1 had huge 3rd party support and the sheer number of brilliant games just outclassed the Saturn in nearly every way. Big hitters like FFVII and MGS and RE2 and 3 and Gran Turismo to name just a few, plus completely new experiences like PaRappa and Vib Ribbon. God I miss the 32bit era.

It's so weird that I was really happy to leave that gen behind. The crunchy 3D and visible polygons everywhere, I used to be glad they were a thing of the past, but man, do I miss it now. And thanks to emulation, I get to experience so much stuff from that era I could never afford at the time.

Don't get me wrong, I loved my Saturn and most of the 1st party games for it. NiGHTS is my favourite game of all time, and i generally don't like SHMUPS but I got my Saturn modded to buy Radiant Silvergun and it was an amazing experience. Guardian Heroes, Fighting Vipers, Sega Rally, all great games

Gina Rinehart Part 8 A state agreement is a contract between a state government and a company that Parliament turns into law. It sits above other laws. It can bind future governments. That is not a characterisation. It is how the Western Australian government describes them. . #perth

Gina Rinehart Part 9 The question is not "mining or no mining." The question is: who gets to decide what an economy looks like? When a company comes to a town and says "we need this mine or there will be no jobs," that is a choice. It is not a natural law. It is a design choice. Governments can

I had an emergency call in this morning to the premises I clean. Somebody decided it was too much effort to ask for a key to the loos so decided to brown nug bomb outside every toilet door. What a fantastic start to the day. Why are people like this? Fucking filthy gronks.

I have a couple of Spotted Bowerbirds (i think) hanging around the garden and backyard, and I finally figured out it was them that were mimicking so many other bird species. I've heard them do Restless Flycatchers, Wagtails, Kites, Miners, Butcher Birds, Magpies, Apostlebirds etc. Fascinating.

Trying to guess at what kind of things to put into an SU-580 form for centrelink. I have no idea what I am doing. It's crazy that my job provider has zero knowledge either. I know they aren't centrelink but when pushing us into sole trader work, they should have some background on this stuff.

Guess i'll have to get my big boy pants on and either waste a day on the phone calling Centrelink about it or make an appointment to see someone in person who knows their stuff which isn't very likely.

Having problems with my energy provider. Chat to us the icon says. The "us" in that sentence is a chatbot. So far so shit. The chatbot can't help at all, so it offers up the contact us section to fill out and send an email. Great. Guess what replies to the email? Yes! Another unhelpful chatbot.

How is this helping productivity at all? No problems are solved. All it does is bounce people from one chatbot to another. The rise of A.I is such a farce. I'm sure there is good usage for it with physics and astronomy, but it's use in business is shithouse for the end customer. Fuck A.I.
