This is sickening. You can't bring an ecosystem back after it's demolished. These public forests are jewels of our country, often envied by other countries in Europe who didn't manage to preserve their own during their industrial revolutions. The loss can never be undone

I know that America is not a Christian nation because if it were, we’d welcome immigrants, there’d be a job of foot washer at the boarder, Citizens United wouldn’t exist, the rich would be chased, the hungry would be fed, the homeless housed. 1/2 Equity and Equality are two different things. If we make it standard that all babies get a trust fund gift of $5000 at birth. That is equality. But if we instead create a sliding scale based on need so those in poverty get a free education to grad school, working class gets 75% scholarship

2/2 based on need, middle class gets 50% based on need (just for example. That's equity. Those who need the most get the most. That levels the playing field in that one area of an issue. It's not a hand out, it's a leg up. Children are our future. We need a child centered equitable fiscal policy

Don't confuse this with spoiling and permissiveness. Children need structure and boundaries too. But a society that bankrupts its children and neglects its elderly deserves to go extinct

Parents must center the needs of children, social and political policies in community should center the needs of children. If you are not prepared to do this, don't have children. Yes, that means all abortion and contraception should be free and freely available.

Unhappy parents who also happen to be voters...it took decades but the pendulum is swinging full on in the other direction...towards the people who actually pay taxes. Its not really that surprising...is it?

A real “threatening breach” was January 6. Letting that veteran sit down would’ve been the respectful thing to do. He served this country letting him sit peacefully should be the bare minimum.
