Always so grateful for my regulars!! I get so attached to their characters, at a certain point I stop needing references πŸ˜†πŸ’•

With Edgerunners Season 2 releasing, CD Projekt Red could have had the opportunity to do the funniest thing imaginable by just having Adam Smasher massacre the whole crew at the end.

Some love for the new Ghost in the Shell! We've had so many adaptations, really fun to see a take on the original; the tank fight episode was a ride

Use reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is β€œcheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.

To bring this back to the book, it resonates so deeply with my experience that I am very literally brought to tears by scenes like this - the absolute heartbreak of someone hating themself for never seeming to be enough.

I got an official diagnosis in 2020, and it was a complex experience for me. Many online talk about their own diagnoses with happiness or relief, like the explanation was a real lightbulb moment for them. It wasn't like that for me. I felt so, so angry - like I had been cheated for untold decades.

I had struggled bitterly with tasks most find trivial, and come to what I believed was the logical conclusion: I was stupid, and I was lazy. Having it revealed that I had been living with the parking brake on was difficult. I think I still grapple with it, and with unlearning that self hatred.

I suppose this is as good an opportunity as any to talk about my own experience. It was probably obvious to some, but I have never been especially "out" as someone with ADHD and there's reasons for that.
