Senior-pup woke me up at 4:30. That's after my, I can fall back asleep time, I guess I'm up now. The old man is worth it and if I'm lucky, I'll catch a nap today.

Autumn is showing itself in Rhode Island this weekend. We took a lovely walk in Lincoln Woods State Park yesterday.

October has been a hard month. Magnus fell and bruised his elbow. Last week both pups had their teeth cleaned, Magnus had 6 teeth extracted and a skin tag removed. And changed his pain meds. He's slowly starting to feel better than he's felt in months. We're hoping this means he's on the mend.

I spotted a piebald white tail deer today in Providence! We were on the Woonasquatucket Greenway and she was crossing the Salmon St connector. She was small and white with brown spots on her right side. I did not get a photo, but I feel so privileged to have spotted such a rare animal. #rhodeisland
