New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham: I think Americans have absolutely had it. And I think their question, certainly mine, is, why the people around him don’t take his crayons and markers away like you do for toddlers right before bedtime or naps.
Jon Ossoff: "He's trying to put his face on the money. Did you see that? He's building a monument to himself. But see, Atlanta, he's doing these things now, because no one will honor him when he's gone. Because he's a failed president and a national disgrace."
Didn’t see much of the Ravens this morning so thought I see if they were around now, after 1/2 hr’s wait Chips came in with a call & a somersault followed by Gravy. See how Chips is almost falling asleep while Gravy is grooming him! MhNotice how they hear the distant shooting 😞
Remember Fractured Fairy 🪄Tales is a classic animated comedy cartoon series that ran from 1959 to 1964 as a popular recurring segment on The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.
This black bear knows how to nap! And with a big, audible yawn to set the scene. From the trail camera at our sport court. Wish I could have walked up to the court and seen her.

So DOJ is telling one court the fund is dead while appealing another ruling that helps keep it alive. That’s not a small inconsistency. If the fund is truly gone, why fight to preserve the legal path back to it?
💥 Oath Keepers Stewart Rhodes ready for Insurrection 2! Founder, convicted of seditious conspiracy for Jan6, at Texas GOP convention. No regrets for his role in the first insurrection, ready to do it again. 9/9
BREAKING: DOJ is resurrecting the slush fund, but an hour later they moved to dismiss my lawsuit arguing the slush fund is dead. I'll go LIVE in 45 minutes on MTN to show you what they're saying. www.muellershewrote.com/p/breaking-e...
September 12, Dublin. Thousands of “vicious Irish bastards” show up to unwelcome America’s warmongering-genocidal-rapist-
paedophile President in Dublin.
Elena Rybakina letting the girl from the US Open lemonade stand hold the trophy was wholesome
Elena “Do you want to hold it?"
"Really?"
Elena “Yes of course”
"Guys I just won"😂
Elena “Are you playing tennis?"
"Yeah"
Elena “So hopefully in 10, 15 years"🥹
This attempt to construct a narrative of persecution around being a white guy in America is at base, an expression of profound jealousy and insecurity towards people who have to overcome challenges they will never face
and on the other side of the racial divide, a guy like bubba sparxx, from rural north carolina, was using hip-hop to do country music. the rigid divides of genre and identity that schmitz imagines are not real.
and i don't just mean this in a "black people are rural sense." when you listen to southern hip-hop — especially the stuff out of houston in the 90s and early 200s — you are listening to something recognizably *country*.
and really just to emphasize the point, *black people are country too*, which schmitz might understand if he was capable of thinking in anything other than broad stereotypes
and that if you spend any time in actual rural america, you are as likely to hear hip hop as any other genre, even among whites (ask yourself why the big country hits of the last ten years have incorporated elements of hip hop)
his basic ignorance of the subject is evident in that he equates country music with white rurality. not only does he appear unaware of the diversity of rural america, but he doesn’t seem to get that the principle audience for this stuff is suburban and exurban
the way to understand a piece like this from schmitz is that he lives in an urban, cosmopolitan millieu and the popularity of country music is a novelty to him. and so to explain it, he has to fit it into his volkish conception of america, whether or not that makes any actual sense.
I see the NYT is still platforming 'dei crushed white men' bullsh*t. Here it's buried in a 'why rural themed pop culture' is so popular in a piece written by a Princeton grad who lives in New York City.

They are running out of money and need a narrative to justify slowing down on training and developing new models. There are plenty of folks chasing down this story. Ed Zitron, the Tech Report, and many other independent journalists report on this near daily.
If Sam Altman, Dario Amodei, and Elon Musk all agree that we have to slow down - and now - something serious clearly happened with a frontier AI model.
Journalists should be digging in to this. We aren’t getting the whole story here.
Garcia: Trump obviously has been a failure as a businessman, and he saw the presidency as an opportunity to enrich himself and his family.
This family is at a point where they think they can do whatever they want. And what they're using to enrich themselves is the public's hard-earned money.
Abdul El-Sayed: "Weijia, with all due respect, this is the third time you've asked about a Twitch streamer ... their whole game is to make us fight culture wars so that we don't pay attention to the fact the president has made $2.2 billion ... "
All political candidates should be making a clear statement on this. It's not a trivial point. Trump's Albert Speer projects are the hallmarks of dictatorship.
Imagine having more money than you could ever need and instead of using it to tackle poverty or disease you give it to a bunch of entitled grifters who don't give a shit about anyone but themselves.
#RudyGiuliani publicly told @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social that it is inappropriate" for Zohran to go to the 9/11 memorial.
