Republican voters in Kentucky who presumably spent much of 2024 banging on about Epstein just ejected from Congress their own Republican congressman, who helped get the Epstein files out, in order to please the close friend of Epstein, Donald Trump.

From my own personal experience, for anyone doing AI- assisted work on race, slavery, colonialism, resistance, and violence... DON'T. I tried running some writing through AI, and it would strip out language about race and violence. "Ask" it why, and it will gaslight you.

Recently, FamilySearch digitized and uploaded tons of microfilmed records, including many from 18th-century Massachsuetts. They're using some sort of AI to transcribe/summarize the handwritten documents. I've noticed that the AI strips out references to race and enslavement in 18thc documents.

Cesar Sayoc, a Trump super fan & obsessive Fox viewer, sent pipe bombs in 2018 to Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, & many other top Dems. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison. In the wake of the attacks, Trump said about his rhetoric: "Tone down, no. Could tone up."

I’m not a conspiracy theorist but come on. And the level of misinformation coming from a gathering of journalists who shouldn’t even there! It’s alarming and absurd. And the cherry on top is the footage of the catering staff, still doing their jobs while the people in evening wear stand around.
