Andrew Rogers AKA The Silversunbeam

As an OG TOS fan I have been lucky enough to talk to Leonard Nimoy, @georgetakei.bsky.social, and William Shatner. I missed DeForest Kelley, Jimmy Doohan, and Nichelle Nichols. But I did say hello to Walter Koenig at a fan-con once -- no more than a wave -- but today, it counts. RIP to the Ensign.

I don't know why none of these people ever get back to me

I know it was a cool party trick, but as demonstrated, the Roadster will never make it into production. Fer chrissakes we can barely be trusted with cars that are supposed stay on the tarmac. Two Things- 1. Any car can fly… once 2. Everyone knows that the fastest car in the world is any rental car

I swear to gawd, we're livin' in the worst fekkin' timeline. How many times have we had to point out that Idiocracy was a warning, not a guide? www.nbcnews.com/politics/tru...

Dolly Parton rose from poverty to stardom. She gave $500 to every student in her hometown who finished high school; she built hospitals & bald eagle preserves; her Imagination Library has gifted 300 million books to children. Roger Ebert met her and came away thinking she was a literal angel. RIP.

While her music wasn’t in my wheelhouse, her graciousness and kindness as a human being made me a fan of Dolly Parton the person. She was the best of us and I am saddened by her passing.

WTAF?

Russel got screwed too. Letting Antonelli go through put George’s podium finish at risk. Kimi was going to keep the points lead regardless. But I guess Kimi is the anointed one this year. 🤪

Hamilton has every right to be pissed after the team let him down today. LeClerc should be pissed too. Congrats to Lando for today’s win though. Nicely done.

While I’d love to take credit as a green thumb, this Sugarbaby watermelon is a volunteer. Seeds from last year’s crop sprouted all over the yard. #naturefindsaway 🤪

After the Hugging Face incident I figure we’ve about 42 months before the Ultimate Question to Life the Universe and Everything is revealed. At that point, because the question and the answer cannot exist simultaneously, our current universe will disappear in a puff of logic.
