The data is based on the hecheated.org site and they explain on their website how they get it. It is legit. Why would you not believe this given how many times each males in girls' sports competes? What do you say to the girls' who are losing to males in girls' sports?

Women's leagues exist for one reason. Sex matters in sports. In 2017 the US women's national team, the reigning World Cup champions, lost 5-2 to an FC Dallas under-15 boys team in a scrimmage. If sex doesn't matter, why have a women's league at all?
