🚨I ask for aid A good friend of mine (plus his uncle and dog) is losing his family home after his mom died in March. He was an unpaid carer to her for 10+ yrs, and is struggling to find work. He'll become homeless in Nov if they can't find suitable housing. Please help if you can. He's a good man.

Question for the Mass Effect fans! My gaming channel is meant to be more retro focussed going forward, and so the best versions of a game aren't necessarily the goal. So I'm curious if grabbing ME on 360 would be fun/cool, or if I should just get the LE as recommended. Is it truly that bad?

TW - Vomit Why do cats insist on trying to vomit in literally the worst places? Like... They 100% are trying, I swear. Haru starts making her "gonna be sick" noise and promptly moves herself in the direction of all my electronics currently on the floor, despite there being about 6ft of free floor.

I've done a lot of physical stuff so I'm giving it a rest. My stream setup is a lot of faff. I'm gonna have a cup of tea, I've taken more painkillers, I'm wrapped in my new fluffy bedding, and I'm gonna read quietly. I do think I'm gonna prefer this layout though, so the work is worth it.

I've been moving my room around today and it's taken all afternoon/evening and I'm not even remotely done. I now have massive regrets about removing the arms for my monitors from the desk, as I don't know what position they were in to be PERFECTLY ALIGNED. 😭😭😭

I wish my body didn't treat most painkillers as an invasion. To get rid of toothache, I have to trade for kidney pain. Which to me is a worthwhile swap, but the toothache is still throbbing mildly AND my kidneys feel like they're in a press. This is with another protective medication as well. 😭

Been having toothache for a couple days and last night it was really fucking with my sleep. Spent an hour seeking out an NHS dentist at about 3am. Sent an email to enquire about slots. Been years since I've dealt with dental stuff. Gods it hurts.

Bras may as well be the same as my socks/shoes issues. I can feel them all day. They're not comfy, whether they fit or not. I can feel sweat gather on them on hot days. It's impossible to feel good about them.

Wearing anything on my feet feels like I am radiating heat and that something unpleasant in its warmth is squeezing me. I hate socks and shoes in equal measure. I desperately want to be bare-foot at all times.

I cannot believe this advert isn't satire. I don't understand how you can look at this advert and think this is a good advert. I don't even mean because of the theft-machine. It 100% looks like a dunk on uninspiring and unimaginative people.

I don't know what's going on with my sleep atm. I've been waking up around 8 for a few days, but still exhausted. I felt so terrible yesterday that I went to be before 10pm and I've been up since around 7am. I can't win. I sleep well, I'm exhausted. I sleep less I'm exhausted.

I did in fact break and turned off all the emails from these services. I just can't handle 30 emails in one day for demos of games that don't match my interests when I'm still not streaming or making other content. It's so overwhelming just as a gamer, let alone for content creators.

I think I've finally hit my limit with receiving emails about indie games. I get promos from legit key sites every day and the new Next Fest just started. It's too much. I don't have time to filter through 8000+ games. I'm barely streaming, haven't begun YouTube, and too many use Gen AI. 😔

Do I happen to have any mutuals that know anything about makeup, specifically for cosplay? I'm wanting to experiment with my Goblin persona and I need to be a reddish colour with big ears, but I don't know where to begin. I've never even done regular everyday makeup so it's a bit overwhelming.

I'm going to say this with my whole chest. Steam has rules about AI disclosure. Those rules directly relate to the Steam store page (reasonably considered an advertisement). If a dev or pub fails to disclose AI usage in accordance with those policies, they are being dishonest in their advertising

Catching up with the latest MinnMax podcast and it really cuts deep hearing the grief in Ben's voice as they openly address the discovery of Jacob Geller's past. What a blow to the community and the Cohorts. I've had to stop my walk for a cry. It still hurts, even though I wasn't directly effected.
