Might be reading too much into this small(?) detail… but why is the PWHL game using the crummy warmup nets while the NHL game in the same arena a few hours earlier used the shiny white game nets?

Shouts out to Max Scherzer, doing it for all the guys over 40 who experience neck, shoulder and back pain because of the violent repetitive movement of their bodies, whether that's Pitching to Major League Hitters or Shifting Slightly in Bed

First @pwhl--vancouver.bsky.social game is their home opener on Nov 21! Been holding off on booking travel till they release the schedule.

🚨 CLOSE RACE ALERT IN VANCOUVER KINGSWAY 🚨 Longtime NDP Mp Don Davies is up by just 44 VOTES against Liberal candidate Amy Gill. Three quarters of the vote in. One of those ridings that could be up for grabs for a while tonight.

Working on SignalR + Azure Functions was the most fun I've had in my career

The best thing about Azure, is you can never get bored! Today I am learning about SignalR and the Azure SignalR service and Azure Functions! Watching a video from 5 years ago with @anthonychu.ca and Donovan brown!

So proud of everyone in Vancouver who stood in line for hours to vote today. Thanks to everyone who worked at the polling stations. Congrats @lucymaloney.bsky.social @seanorr.bsky.social!!

And the final results are in. Orr and Maloney in a blowout, with Orr on more than half the ballots cast — an impressive result on a crowded ballot, even in a byelection context. ABC gets around 13% of the vote, slightly ahead of how Vision did in the 2017 byelection when they were in power.

There are long lineups at many polling places in Vancouver. If you're in line right now, or if you get to a polling place by 8pm, STAY IN LINE. If you are in line at 8pm, YOU ARE ALLOWED TO VOTE. You CANNOT be turned away.

I've cracked the code of why byelection lineups are so long in Vancouver today. It's not just a turnout question. Compared to the 2017 byelection, the city decreased the number of election workers by EIGHTY PERCENT. From 1,250 in 2017 to 250 this time around. This was a staff recommendation.

Just cancelled my trip to Seattle next week. Sad to miss my first in-person #MVPSummit since 2016 but doesn't seem right to travel to the US right now, even if it's for work.
