I think the problem is that bookhive.buzz/opds/books/%... redirects to dl.bookhive.buzz/opds/books/%... which still requires auth but the client doesn't include it for some reason (maybe because it's a different domain?)

A great example of how the Google #golang team put thousands of lines of ultra-technical code in service of an incredibly easy-to-use and useful tool. If you ever deprecate code, you really should know about the go:inline directive!
Find out how the source-level inliner in Go 1.26 can help you with API migrations. go.dev/blog/inliner
anyway, I reached a point where it's useful and uses reveal.js under the hood: github.com/pitasi/skit single binary, hot reloading mode, PDF and static HTML exports

Finally! No more "dirty" #golang builds because you have untracked files laying around which don't affect the build at all :)

I'm rebuilding `kilo` in Go following @viewsourcecode.org tutorial: viewsourcecode.org/snaptoken/ki.... Amazing content ๐ I cheated though, I skipped all the "raw terminal" setup and used golang.org/x/term which already implemented those.

i tried @grain.social and it looks good, but i'd just like to dump all my photos in a single feed, i don't necessarily need "galleries", optional hashtags could work too
it also looks like it's leveraging existing bsky CDN, e.g. cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_ful..., an easy win would be to replace "jpeg" with "webp" (or even "avif" ๐)
I'm curious if there's any limitation in using @bsky.app CDN? Because I'd kinda like to rebuild anto.ph to fetch my photos from the atmosphere

The Xteink X4 is underpowered, flawed, has no backlight, and no touch screen. But it's tiny, cheap, magnetically snaps to your phone and has a devout community loves it. It has bloomed into something special thanks to open source firmware. For @aftermath.site aftermath.site/xteink-x4-ch...

The second edition of Designing Data-Intensive Applications, by myself and @chris.blue, is finished and sent off to the printers! Ebooks should be available in the next week, and print books in 3โ4 weeks. Sigh of relief. ๐ (BTW, this is a good opportunity to support your favourite local bookshop!)
