Waiting for weekly limit to reset to finally try and solve my issue with QMK oneshot modifiers... Testing hardware changes sucks so it must run on max effort to do the correct thing. Maybe I'll be finally able to "hold" modifiers OR one shot them 😅

Damn, I need to update hex.pm/packages/nim... for v0.2. Full swagger to elixir mapping, with all endpoints supported and new personal auth. Nice change from Garmin.

After nearly 8 months being closed, Garmin revamps and re-opens their Connect API program. This new program now offers instant and free API for users to access their own data, plus new tiers for companies to access data. Here's everything you need to know: www.dcrainmaker.com/2026/10/garm...

Why did I try to install Shelly... I already knew someone did shitty job on electric installation in this house, but really?

Claude prompt for ya, prepare to spend $$$: > Great UX like bloomberg terminal, compact, minimal, keyboard driven, high information density. Take GitHub/Email/Slack/Jira/PRs/CI/Tmux/Claude sessions/nvim sessions/.... and show this as prioritized, live list. BLUF. Local only. Elixir LiveView.

Plus any time an item is missing some context, I prompt for extension. It takes into account PR stacks, threads, citations on Slack, mentions, as much as possible that's relevant.

I did it few weeks ago and it's the best thing ever that is constantly living next to my browser. With my "inbox zero" brain it's the best thing ever.

Gonna try local LLM on my old hardware - 5950x, 1080Ti (12GB), 32GB RAM. I wonder if there's anything that could replace any "haiku" usage for claude, with at least 10t/s.

#TIL claude code /voice works and is useful. Just my QMK config has no support for "hold space" 😂

No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads

Weather holiday match. I took a day off to work on my project in garden! It's raining today.

I cannot confirm this... I tried both Pi and Codex without my overcomplicated setup and it sucked.

dax@thdxr.com

a weird inversion with LLMs is the models improve faster than the tinkerers when i see people with custom workflows and setups they're all addressing problems that don't exist anymore the person naively using vanilla codex is more likely to be experiencing state of the art

I still cannot EASILY have any CLI to slack via access tokens without escalating to Slack admin, but I can ask claude on haiku model to use Slack connector. For real?

Bosch v12 struggles a lot with foster bits into hardwood 😭 Time for long time coming power monster - v40 makita 😜 max: 35 Nm vs 180 Nm

Soo... what's the best way to get PR link / CI status into "jj log" #jj? Something with reasonable performance 😅

We got invoiced almost 300€ for reparing a single electic cable, took about 40 minutes in total. Inoice? 2x 1h work time, for almost 100€/h. One guy was just watching how another worked....

Took me way too long, but so simple... new #jj alias "jj todo ..." tracking TODOs as changes in jj. I just wish I could push them as empty stack "PRs" with empty commits on GitHub.

Niri dynamic screenshare is nice, now integrated into swayc panel... Plus all notifications always hidden!

This is going well!!! It's big 😏 2 days will be now lost due to weather :(( need more holidays... And tools 🔥

Took almost 2 weeks to ramp-up to my before holiday flow of work and catch up with everything. Crazy!
